Ryan Sutter has been a fiddler for over 15 years, and has played his grandfather Bill Neal's fiddle from the start. He learned the instrument under Kim Thomas,
a champion fiddler and music teacher at "Thomas Music Studio". He now gives lessons at his home in Punxsutawney, PA, named "Ryan's Fiddle Roots". Ryan has competed in fiddle competitions since he began playing, and was the 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2022 State Fiddle Champion. He gives God all the glory for his talent. Ryan is a homeschool graduate of 2012. Other then music, Ryan is a big nerd and loves reading, movies, and video games.
James McCullough is a 2019 homeschool graduate, who has always enjoyed many styles of music. Jim began taking music lessons at age 9. A few years later he was given his Grandpa Bill George's guitar, along with his family's love for bluegrass, country, western, and gospel music. Jim is now able to play basically anything with strings. He has been involved in various choirs, cantatas, offertories, recitals, music competitions, and performances. An avid outdoorsman and hunter.
Nathan Perrone is a musically talented young man, who graduated in 2021. Homeschooling allowed him to pursue his love of music often throughout the day. His first instrument, the piano, gave him good roots. Playing mostly by ear, he excelled rapidly. In 2011 he heard an excellent rendition of "Listen to the Mocking Bird", by a gospel group setting his love for bluegrass gospel. Nathan and his siblings were often requested by churches and family for impromptu performances. In 2020 he bought a mandolin, and after teaching himself to play, won the mandolin division of the 2021"PA State Old Time Fiddlers' Contest". Nathan loves the woods, hunting, a good book, and sports.
Ronnie Perrone could be seen tapping his toe to country music at 4 months. When he was 8 years old he picked up a guitar and began teaching himself. He took piano lessons for several years, and has always enjoyed a variety of music. Ronnie encouraged his siblings in their musical interests, they could all often be heard playing music throughout the house. In 2021 he married his beautiful bride and they were blessed with a daughter later that year. Ronnie is the founder of "Perrone Taxidermy" and enjoys the woods in his free time.
Joshua McCullough is a 2023 graduate. He has grown up with a variety of music around him. Josh took one year of piano lessons, and can play several stringed instruments by ear. He has participated in many choir, special group, and band performances. Josh is an outdoorsmen and hunter who loves video games.
